The CompTIA Convergence+ is a certification that demonstrates knowledge of areas in communication technologies where telecommunications, video, data communication, broadcast, and other single based IP-delivery systems are used.
CompTIA Convergence+ validates the knowledge and skills in the area of Communications Technologies (CT), where datacomm, telephony/telecommunications, video and broadcast multimedia technologies combine into a single IP-based delivery system. It is an international, vendor-neutral certification that recognizes a technician's ability to design, implement and manage both data and voice networking.
CompTIA Convergence+ is a valuable credential to enhance a career with convergence technology.
The exam is vendor neutral and does not have any prerequisites; however, CompTIA does recommend somewhere between 18 and 24 months of experience with voice and digital networking over IP solutions before attempting the single qualifying exam for this certification. Pass exam CT0-101 is a must.
